Welcome to My Personal Page
On Saturday, June 15th, I am participating in the 18th Annual Habitat 5K Walk/Run/Mosey at Edgewater Park.
I am helping Cleveland Habitat FUNdraise to rehab an abandoned house in Cleveland that will be connected to a hardworking family.
This event is very near and dear to me. My grandfather and step grandmother started this walk 18 years ago. They ran the event for around 14 years and recently turned this over to Kimberly Pride who works for Habitat. Kim had asked me this year to be a part of the walk and the board. My grandpa has told her, his goal is to get over 1,000 walkers for the event. Last year, there were almost 500 walkers and raised over $45,000 to help fund affordable home projects in Greater Cleveland. My grandpa and step grandma still attend every year and my grandpa even says the morning prayer. He is turning 99 this year and my goal is to bring as many people to the event as possible for him. Please feel free to forward this on to your family, friends, neighbors, anyone who may want to attend or donate. I have created team Sea-Land. If you are not able to attend and would like to help reach the fundraising goal, you can donate through the team link below. Please feel free to call, email, stop by if you have any questions and I would be happy to help answer. Emily and I will both be volunteering at the event and hope to see you there!
Please support me and Cleveland Habitat by walking with me or sponsoring me for this event.
Every hand, every step, every dollar makes a difference!
Safe, decent affordable homeownership changes the lives of a family and rehabbing vacant houses changes the fabric of a community. Cleveland Habitat is rehabbing six vacant houses on a single street in Clark-Fulton. This will help stabilize a community and help empower families.
Thank you so much.
