On Saturday, June 16th, I am participating in the 17th Annual Habitat 5K Walk/Run/Mosey at Edgewater Park.

I am helping Cleveland Habitat FUNdraise to rehab an abandoned house in Cleveland and connect this home to a hardworking Cleveland family.

Safe, decent affordable housing changes the lives of a family and rehabbing vacant houses changes the fabric of a community.  Cleveland Habitat has a goal of rehabbing 100 homes from 2016-2018.  They are acquiring vacant, abandoned houses in clusters and with volunteer power, are restoring the blighted houses to beautiful homes.
